Why does Comcast suck so goddamn bad? Why can't I go one day without an outage?
Fuck you, Comcast.

It's not. My connection is still having intermittent failures. According the Comcast, there's line noise and signal fluctuations on my side of the street. I have another service appt tomorrow. This time they're supposed to do more than just swap out the modem and slap a trip charge on me.
Do you guys have special software to track down anything negative written about Comcast? How'd you find such a shitty, obscure blog?

Guess I should follow-up. They sent out a tech to replace my modem despite my previous conversations with Comcast. After arguing with them for a while, they determined my upstream service was noisy and erratic. They then informed me that they couldn't do anything about that problem and that they needed to schedule their maintenance people to address. I was under the impression that that is exactly what the appt was for. Apparently not. They insisted there was no modem problem, something I never claimed. The best part was when they refused to believe anything the service person I talked to previously told me. Apparently checking service records sitting in a van is superior to checking service records in an office.
Service is now marginally better with intermittent failures and drops in speed occurring daily but less frequently. For all of this quality service, I'm paying ~$70/month for their highest speed package. Guess that makes me a hardcore sucker.
There better not be a trip charge this time.
Comcast sucks.
